About
CAPTAIN PAUL
Captain Paul Lohr was born and raised in Kilgore, Texas, an East Texas oil-boom town.
​
Paul has always loved water and has fond memories of his childhood floating down the Sabine River, camping at Lake Caddo and fishing on Lake Palestine where he has lived for the past 30 years.
​
Working most of his adult life as a truck driver, Paul's true passion has always been to retire on the water. While driving long hours on the highway, he was dreaming up plans for the Cane River Queen.
Paul began acquiring his party boat captains license and drawing the plans for his riverboat. Nearing the completion of his boat, he began seeking the best home and fell in love with Natchitoches.
