Boarding begins at 9:45 a.m. Departure from the dock will be at 10 a.m. and returns to the Cane River Queen dock around 11 a.m.

 

We will depart from the Cane River Queen dock located in Rue Beaufort Historic Riverfront heading north down the river.

 

Our morning cruise will give you an incredible view of the historic Front Street Business District. The rich history and culture are evident as you see the architecture of these incredible buildings and businesses along the riverfront. 

 

On occasion, you can hear the echo of the horse-drawn carriages as they travel through the brick streets of Natchitoches and you will have a close-up view of the Roque House and Gardens located in the Cane River National Heritage area.

 

We will continue down the river viewing magnificent homes lining the river. Wave and say hi as we pass local residents on the Cane River and depending upon the time of year, you may see banks lined with blooming wisteria trees, azalea bushes, colorful camellias, and crepe myrtles. With a keen eye, you may even spot an alligator. Have your camera's ready.
